Always enjoy myself here. The family and I have e been coming to Kathy's since we randomly discovered it probably four to five years ago. The food is always great and they're an extremely patriotic group of individuals, always catering to our men and women in uniform, just the way it should be.
We've tried other crab houses within a 80 miles radius of the state's capital and, I'd have to say, we've got the freshest cooked crabs here. Service is very amicable. The waiters and waitresses are friendly to both customers and their colleagues, which is lovely to see. Kitchen and dining area is clean and does not smell fishy like some restaurants do.
Will definitely come back for more fresh seafood!
I write this as an dog lover and dog owner. I do understand how everyone feels the need to protect the veteran, but it's an invisible fight. The law is clear that the dog is welcome, as well as restaurant rules, it's apparent that that was never the issue. The issue is clear to see, that the female in the video used her basic human right to choose where and when she would be in the presence of different variables, and a dog wasn't one of them, which is her basic right to choose. No one sees this. From the video it is clear, the woman was leaving, when the staff "CHOOSE" to continue to escalate and fight a fight that wasn't a fight to begin with, a fight that even the Vet himself was adimate about ending. Why not let her go. I for one, as a lover of dogs and vets, would never choose to attend a place where I would be belittled and lashed out at for my basic right to exit an facility at will, regardless of reason. I have yet to hear this restaurant apologize to this woman, who indeed is an American like us all. Let me stress again, the woman choose to leave, she never asked the man and his service dog to leave, someone "CHOOSE" TO attack her for her right to leave. From all I heard including the veterans wife's own statement, the woman left without confrontation, until the veterans "WIFE" followed her to confront her. That person is no better than she. So stop making this a "woman" attacks vets "service dog" when that was never the case, I see "Staff" attacks "woman" for leaving their restaurant due to not being comfortable around service dog. I am surrounded by vets daily, and I stand on my belief that no human should be treated this way, regardless of the situation. Online videos say she went on a rampage against the man, no where did I hear her even begin to attack him, she was too busy fighting with staff. And yeah she may think dogs are nasty, but that's her human right to her opinion, again let her leave. Come one America, we have to do better.
Absolutely satisfied. The raspberry iced tea is a definite Must Try; it's not too sweet like flavored tea you'd get anywhere else. The seafood is really fresh.
Family owned restaurant, great food with nice size portions, during crab season she has great deal on crabs, also has a screen in porch with fans on the ceiling. Definitely the best seafood restaurant in Delaware city, I enjoy this much better than crabby dick definitely reasonable price and very clean
Great local place for anything from sandwiches to seafood. High quality food at reasonable prices. They are closed for the winter.
